Mt. Lemmon and Cochise Stronghold Closures for 2010

I received the following e-mail from Richard A Gerhart regarding the 2010 Peregrine Falcon closures on November 18, 2009:

At this time I don't anticipate any changes for 2010.

I interpret his comment to mean that the closures for 2010 are:

• Cochise Stronghold
• Rockfellow Group is closed between March 1st and June 30th.
• Cochise Dome (aka What's My Line Dome) is closed between March 1st and June 30th.
• Mt.Lemmon
• Barnum Rock is closed between February 1st and August 31st.
• The Fortress and Ravens are closed between March 15th and June 30th.
• Rappel Rock is closed between March 15th and June 30th.
• Seven routes on Panarama Wall are closed between March 15th and June 30th.
• Wheeler Wall is closed between March 15th and June 30th.
• Areas in Pusch Ridge Wilderness are closed between January 1st and April 30th.

The penalty for climbing in any of these areas during the closures is at most $500 or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
