Aspen Fire Area Closurse

Mt. Lemmon will be open to the public on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at 6:00 am. The map above showing the closed areas was sent to me by the Tucson Climber's Association . Although many new areas are closed, such as the Summit Crags, Munchkinland and other areas around Rose Canyon, several areas previously closed have been opened. These include Ridgeline, the Tombstone, the Boneyard and other climbing areas on the east side of the highway. It is difficult to tell from the map if the Druid is closed.
